It rained yesterday and the creative juices were flowing.

I had purchased several small frames last December and decided to do a painting with my watercolor pencils.  I was pleasantly surprised.  Painting size is 2.5" x 3".

Nicely done Kim, especially for something that small!
The detail is great and I love the shading.

All the best,
Jim

Well done Kim, nice work with the values- almost looks like an oil painting.

That apple looks like it is very close to rolling right out of the frame! Very nice, Kim! I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the others. Must it rain before you do?

I'm off to work on this month's challenge....anyone else game?

Thanks, Tami. I hope I don't have to wait until it rains because that's pretty rare here in New Mexico (although monsoon season is right around the corner). There's defintely something about rainy days that make me more creative than usual.
I'm wanting to do more of these type, so we'll see.
Priti, thank you, too for your kind words.

I agree with Priti...sure looks like an expensive oil painting. Great work! It's impact is much bigger than it's size.
