I blurted out the same reply as Tami! This is so striking with the bold hues and I love how you have incorporated the use lines (ink?) and some fading. Absolutely gorgeous!!!

Priti,

This is wonderful!  Very colorful and bright.  The pen adds to the colors and defines the form of this.  Good work!  I also like the way you didn't fill in some of the flowers, clever!

Priti,
You certainly know your way around a variety of the media. This is well designed and I like the use of line and the looseness of color.

Really , really nice Priti. Great colours and I do like the composition and how it stands out from the background . Good work as usual .

Thank you Pearl and Intcede, for some reason this one brought a lot of traffic to my blog and several comments along with it.

Hi Priti,
Sorry I haven't commented sooner on this one. The first time I saw it I thought it was a work in progess.
I kept coming back to see if you were going to finish it. Sorry, I like what you have done, but it still looks unfinished to me IMHO. If this is what you were going for then you nailed it. I'm just not aware of this method. Lots of methods I'm not aware of!

All the best,
Jim

Thanks Jim, I am trying different styles to see where my strengths are. One way for me to learn and grow is posting my work here - and getting an honest feedback as i have come to know many of you thru' your work. This painting is done with watercolor and pen and ink - i think it is more "illustration type" style - but by adding the softness of watercolors it becomes a painting.

I know that Tom Lung had suggested a couple of sites in my previous posts, if i find them i will post them here.
