These are awesome! Your style is very unique, attractive and explosive. You are incredibly skilled in this media.

jay, I absolutely love these!! I have been checking out an exercise over on wetcanvas with pouring watercolor, the first two look like similar techniques. Do tell yours! That tree in the first one is amazing. I look forward to seeing more!!

Jay, after viewing your art I went to your website. The posted watercolors are beautiful. I especially like that you developed what normally would be an accidental flaw in a painting (water dripping into partly jelled pigment)into a fine technique of watercolor beauty.

Thanks again for everybody's thoughts. Lung Tom, the process marks, or watercolor blooms are what really make watercolor painting interesting to me. It's just so much fun to watch the pigment flow around as you add or take away water or other pigments. I mentioned in my profile that I'm influenced by Tai Chi and Taoist philosophy, I think those ideas of "going with the flow" influenced my interest in attempting to paint with water, not just the brush. I like to experiment as well, and it's common for me to include gouache in my paintings.

You are crazy, awesomely. excellent! i can't believe what I am seeing! You are going to go far if you choose to do so. As far as i'm concerned, you're already there. (Pardon my improper English...) I am so excited by your colours and bleeds and the rock and moss painting gave me chills.
OK, i'm calmed down now.... No really... you rock!
thanks for the beauty!
