| I enjoy painting what could be not 'what is'. Photographs are used only for the big shapes and some perspective. I paint on damp paper laying in large colored shapes that overlap and mix together. Painting the values and shadows needed at the beginning is the goal. After the painting is dry negative shapes of dark achieve the final results. |

Lung Tom: Lung is Thai for "Uncle" the u is pronounced as a oo as in loose. |

| There is a lot of color and most of my paintings are colorful. I start with strong color knowing I can glaze down anything that is brillant. Thank you jbg |
