With Spring now here I've decided on an expanded palette for my plein air watercolor painting.  Formerly I've been using a small Windsor Newton plein air set.  My new set is a Russian Yarka St. Petersburg Artists' Watercolors purchased through Danial Smith of Seattle, WA.  It did not include any brushes.  The Windsor Newton set did include a brush. I'll post a painting in a day or two









Lung Tom: Lung is Thai for "Uncle" the u is pronounced as a oo as in loose.

Thank you Priti.  I'm sure I'll enjoy these watercolors.  I can imagine the mess I'll have all over those full pans.  I'm going to try omitting the waterproof ink Scampie pen unless I'm painting junk.

Looks like a nice set. My favorite thing to spend money on is art supplies! :-)
