Ok, Pearl. Here's a look at my failed effort.  Any pointers you can give for my next foray into

painting wet in wet would be appreciated. You make it look so easy--I admire your skills...Nina

Nina , Hi! So sorry for the delay in answering your post. I have not been around and have just seen your rose. I think you have done very well for your first 'wet in wet' Congratulations, for what you have accomplished and for trying something new.. As for tips... Your shadow under the rose could be more transparent (Thinner) I made the same mistake so don't feel bad , and you could put some darker shadows on the leaves, other than that, just practice , practice and more practice.
