Don't give up Priti. Your subject matter has a lot going for it. When I get down on my portraits. I do a still life. It takes me back to basics—shapes and shading. Then tackle the portrait again. After all, that's what a face is made up of.

You are absolutely right. I am working on the clouds now - your challenge, then i want to do roosters - a friend's photo of her fav. rooster that passed away. So i have a few projects on hand before i get back to portraits and disappoint myself again.

On the contrary - I think for only doing a few, you're doing quite well. I like this one very much. I can see great progress already, and how you incorporated the background is perfect for the couple. I hope you don't give up (but a break is okay ).
