This is a painting from a photo. It is one of my friends favorite photos and he asked if I could to a painting of it. Lots of work painting all those rocks! Let me know what you think!

Very good Jim, Also an interesting beach.  Usually a rocky beach indicates a rough surf but apparently it has been quiet at this site for awhile.  The rocks churning in rough surf would have ground up the sea shells.  You did a fine job.

Lung Tom: Lung is Thai for "Uncle" the u is pronounced as a oo as in loose.

Rocks are hard to paint but you did a fine job. As i am looking at it on my computer, the top half on the right is well defined by you left the right side a bit unfinished - just my 2 cents.

Jim, it might be my monitor or the lighting on your image.

I love the way the rocks shine. I love looking at rocks and stone and wish I had more time to paint. This is very nice. Thanks for sharing!
