Usually I am posting in "pastel", but here is a watercolor I did one day when I was thinking, "I better give it a whirl before I forget how to do it"!  Any comments?

I do most of my work off of photographs.  This was a group of trees out in Marengo, IL.  I saw the light coming through the trees and thought it would be a great picture to paint.  After not doing a watercolor for sometime, I used some of the tips I learned in pastel class to paint this one and it turned out to be very interesting.   

This is great Deb, you certainly haven't forgotten how to paint in watercolour.

You have achieved  lovely light and shadows, makes me think of spring , so thanks for sharing this beauty.
