Hi Folks,

After a month of getting ready for a show, recovering from a lightning strike in my house and trying to paint on Yupo, I can’t remember if I posted this here or not. If I did please feel free to delete it.

The painting is approximately 11” X 15” on 140 lb. paper. It was done from a photo that I took in my backyard this past Spring.

I hope you enjoy the picture, your comments and crits are more than welcomed.

This is a beautiful work - great composition and style. I would have preferred to see more of the body of the bird, since it is the focal point.

Hee! your very funny greg.
I think it's lovely. I like the warm colors and the textures. The view looks very realistic to me, since I'm a shorty, I usually only get a little peak. The nest is interesting though.
