Hi

This too happened over the weekend. Did this based on a small thumbnail sketch I had for quite some time.

Would like to have your views and comments please.

I just love this!! The composition is great, and the boat gives it a real sense of scale. I like the way the eye is led to the boat. The little touch of the mountains reflected in the water is perfect. The water is done in a very natural way: this is suitable for framing!!

This is really pleasant to look at, I love the colors you chose and the texture in the sand. I agree with JOY the composition is great and your eye is led to the boat. I would only suggest adding a third bird maybe lower and to the left of the other two just past the end of the mountain closest to us.

Nice work! Tracy

Thanks a lot!

The composition just clicked all of a sudden. I had a rough thumbnail sketch (minus the rocks) which had not caught my eye for a long time. I tried to translate it onto paper and found it quite boring. Thats when the rocks jumped up in mind and it happened.

Its fun to see the painting jump out of the plain white paper. Sometimes I really wonder how the whole thing happens into something pleasant that people can look at and appreciate.
