Thought this would go well with the weather we're having here in PA, USA. I painted this several years ago. Last ditch try for some C & C; haven't been getting any feedback lately - what a tough crowd!! Anyhoo, I know that my paintings can hardly compete for attention with the accomplished works shown here.

Love your watercolours. Especially the quiet subject of the wagon and snow offset witht he red cardinal. Was this from a picture you took?

You did a good job -
a simple sharp like a circle is difficult in perspective
but two of them like twins , with perspective and shadow ....

I think you're progressing along nicely. This has a very wintery feel and I love how the cardinal stands out.  Good texture on the wood.

There's only one thing (and it's small!) - it is possible that it that the snow meets the sky directly behind the left handle, but bringing the snow up a bit above the handle where it runs into the paper would be a slight improvement.

You should be proud of yourself on this one; it's beautiful.

Thank for the support and complements!! Kim, I never even noticed that about the snow on the left; you are right and have quite a sharp eye! Thanks again.

Hi Joy,
I just joined the network>Forums>Gouache & since I had just experienced that painting snow isn't just leaving white paper blank, I thought I'd start with your post.
Had a laugh at the snow/sky limit remark too: just like painting satisfying random clouds in a sky until someone points out a section with a resemblance to something embarrassing, leaving it screaming at you from then on.
The red cardinal is just the odd one out I would add.
