This is beautiful! Well done Jim! I love the subtle colors and the Cardinal beaming within all of that. Snow fall is usually tricky and not natural looking most of the time but you've captured that it and that cold snowy feeling.

Yes I was serious about the cardinal. I've just recently gotten into watercolors, I know text book applications but have yet to master them at practice, so yeah i'm impressed with anything right now but your cardinal just kinda popped out at me.

I think it is simple and wonderful. You feel the wonder of the colour in your painting. Love the background you did a fantastic job.
