My Aunt Elsie raised all her children in this cabin. I am told she didn't even have water in the house when she first moved there. I stayed there for a couple weeks one summer and we took baths in the creek, which was always full of turtles. Uncle shot squirrels in the woods and Aunty fried them up for supper. It sure was sad the first time I went back and the cabin was gone, replaced by a mobil home.
