Hi Egon,
Another nice painting. Have you considered having paintings like this printed out on card stock and then sold in gift shops?

Hi Egon
Nice work. Difficult perspective to achieve. Also seeing some warm colors in your painting after some time.

Looking at the stack of drawings.....I really like the heavy black in the one on the left! Not used to seeing such dark color in your work.....but it really makes that picture POP! Good stuff Egon!

Egon

Your painting style sure provides me something to aspire to. I always look forward to seeing your new works. Thanks for letting up peek into your little alpine surroundings. While stationed in Germany I had an opportunity to spend some time in Lenggries
south of Munchen and they remind me a lot of that area.

Can you share with us your pallet?

Thank you

Jerry

Thank you
@Jerry - I was never Lenggries but I was in München Christkindlmarkt 4 weeks ego
- my youngest son is working there
My palette is very simple - I have 2 standard sets with 12 pans (Schmincke and Winsor&Newton) and a tube Indian Yellow

If you paint old buildings like this- perspective becomes difficult - everything is out of sharpe -
most of verticales and horizontals are gone - you have to draw what you see only
if you paint plain air - with the use of a ruler or similar - you are lost

I really enjoy your work - I would to see more darks in the paintings, as in the drawings.

Hi Duende or Pablo V ;-) Thank you
Winter is also beautifull here in our mountains - if the weather is fine
and we have less than 300 miles to the adriatic see - with total other architecture and temperatures up to 100 degrees

this is a crotien cabin near the see ( ink  & wc - I did it there 2003 )
