Flower painting was a way for me to get back into painting after a two year hiatus of being Mr. Mom (no sleep, no painting). . . . I was nervous about picking up the brush again and thought flowers were pretty and I never really painted them as a focal point, I thought they'd be easy until I tried the first couple, thankfully, I learned a lot more from doing them as I would have from keeping up what I did before.   I've been working on portraits now so I'll post them when they're done.
