Well, kind of a demo, more like progress.  I've put some pictures on Flickr so you can see better resolution photos.  This one is called "Sapos Verdes"  I didn't put any notes on the progression but I will when I have more time.  Thanks for looking!

Even though you show the steps Pablo, its still
like your using mirrors and fairy dust to come up
with the finished product! Fantastic work! How long
does it take you to finish one like this?

Very nice, Pablo!
I liked seeing the stages and it helped me to understand watercolors a little more. It's just amazing how you get your vibrant colors and how your textures are so visible! After seeing all of the fantastice watercolor paintings on here, it gets me thinking that I'd really like to try them...someday.

Pablo thanks for posting your slideshow, it is amazing. Could you at some time explain how you control your colors into such precise lines?

Hey there! thank you for the comments! I has actually forgotten about putting this one here, now I'll have to go back and put the comments on the progressions!
Questions:

Jimmy! thanks! wish I could get my hands on some of that fairy dust! I'll have to settle for working hard and making lots of mistakes! This one which is 18"x24" took a little while, time constraints and all but if I were to paint like a 9 to 5, I'd say about a week? I actually have had to learn to paint fast otherwise I'd get nothing done! (my son says it really is magic I do. . . gotta love those kids!)

Mikey C.! Try it you'll like it! (what's your blog?)

Wingman! control has to do with painting areas at a time. . .at least for me. My favorite technique is wet into wet, if you can learn the timing, you do have a lot of control and the benefits of floating colors into colors and great gradations. . lots of perks after you get past the total mayhem while learning!

That "progression" was great to watch, very interesting. Love your painting, the colours are very fresh looking, and the subject matter is fun.
