Hi Retha
Very nicely done. Personally would have liked more contrasting, well defined shadows, perhaps with a prominent light source. But that's just my preference. The painting is very well done.

This is gorgeous! Love the detail work on the dish and pitcher. Beautiful composition. I think this is definitely one of my favorites of yours. Nice work Retha!!

Very nice, Retha. I do have one small suggestion, and maybe it just shows up this way on my screen. It seems to me that the pitcher is off just a touch on the left hand side behind those weeds right where the pitcher meets the bowl. I'm sure you have it drawn accurately, but I think if you lifted the paint to a brighter white right between those three or four stems of weeds we could see the white of the pitcher better. Is this being too picky or what? It's just that at first glance I thought you had drawn that side wrong. I don't think you did, however, but I don't quite see the line of the pitcher clear enough back in there. I love the way you handled the shading in the pitcher and the bowl. And I also love the ground or table and the background. Very good................Gene

Its well painted , but
the pitcher and the bowl looks horizonthal
but the ground where they are standing on looks differend

Sorry mybe I am wrong - but I would like to see more elypse on the bowl - or an horizonthal underground
