This is lovely. I'm glad you got it posted. . I would suggest you keep posting just one painting at a time like this. Then we can all get a chance to view it and comment on it. I, too, was wondering where it is........The building looks southwestern, but the snow looks northern.................Great painting. . Gene

This was from a photo that was provided to me when I took a watercolor rendering class in UCLA Interior Design School back in the late 80s. I think I have the photo downstairs but I have had an operation on my foot and am in a non weight bearing cast so can't go down stairs to look for the photo. I think it was in New Mexico, but I can't be certain. This was my final project in this class and was my first introduction to watercolors. I painted three watercolors in this class and this was my final project, (my third watercolor ever!)

I am not sure, but I think it was New Mexico. This was my final project in a watercolor rendering class when I took Interior Design at UCLA back in the 80s. I think I have the original photo downstairs but I can't get down there. I had a foot operation and am in a non weight bearing cast. I had never done watercolors before I took this class, only pastels. I did 3 watercolors in the class so this was my 3rd watercolor ever!
