I love the colors used. Also like how you created the look of texture in the old walls. If I were you I might consider darkening the floor a bit on the lower right where it meets that dark wall. I don't think the light would enter into the room that much if that wall is so dark, would it? Just a thought, I could be all wrong. Gene

I agree with Gene; I especially enjoy the fresh colors and the way they are blended. The only thing I might change would be the wall to the right - the dark area really divides the painting. I guess you could use some "artisitic license" and put another column or something there, or crop the right side. Your use of light is brilliant.

If I could watercolor, this would be my goal - to use so many rich colors for what is probably one in real life. They provide so much depth and interest in what would otherwise be stiff. Very well done. (And yes, the perspective also makes this a successful painting.)
