Hello everyone. I look forward to getting to know you. Here is a sample of some of my work. This painting is titled "Rejects" it is about what happens to all of the things and people that we reject in our life. It is all transparent watercolor though I am not a purist. I believe that if it is made for watercolor why limit myself and my expression. Just MHO.  I never use black though, because I have so much fun mixing my own and have not found a reason to use it yet.  It is 13 1/2 x 9 3/4 inches. I tend to be all over the place when it comes to subject matter. I just follow my whim so to speak. This was my entry to the National Watercolor Oklahoma Show last November. I got accepted. I don't think I will have anything I want to enter this year. All cc's welcomed.

Thank you very much Heather, I'm glad you liked it. There is quite a story behind this painting. I did not like it at all at one point. I had to just let go of everything and finish it. Now I like it.

Judi I am so glad that you love Rejects. I wasn't always in love with it. There was a time in its evolution that I did not like it at all and almost put it away with no intention of finishing it. Then decided that what the heck I can't mess it up. At that point I became much freer. No more fears, worries, and inhibitions;  it evolved on its own.
