Sometimes you find great reference material in undiscovered corners!

All of them are a half a page with the exception of the Mexican town which is a full page. I am Canadian and live in Ontario and I paint full time. I have worked hard on my composition because I lost interest in copying others' artwork mnay years ago. I love plein air painting because I learn the colors are more muted than I always assumed. Thank you for your kind comments. Landscapes is my favorite theme.

This is a hideaway cabin in the woods where I could paint and not be disturbed by anyone, have my morning tea on the porch and listen to nature. Your paintings tell stories.

Another excellent painting. How long does it take you to complete one?

The cabin painting took about 5 hours cause of the architecture precision. A lot of the time goes in planning before even putting down one brushstroke and it should be so.

I could never do a painting like this in just 5 hours.

Your watercolors are superb. they have a crispness that is hard to achieve in watercolor. And Canada
is the place for scenes of lakes and forests.

Awesome work.. I love the crispness of the water color. You portray Ontario very well.
