I painted few plein air on this scene last week.  I also took some pictures. Did not have time to go back to paint in oil, I had to paint it in pastel at lunch time. This is from photo. Photo only helped me to bring out my memory.  I love the beach. Many paintings can be done from the photo that I took that day.  More to come...

As this is my first pastel landscape, please comment it out ! Thank you all.

This is beautiful sandi! Your colors are very vivid. The painting has life in itself. You put warm colors next to cool ones, and it makes it lively!. The water is beautiful in detail. Again, you don't make details at the far scenes. I think, you have to improve this only ( give emphasis to the background).--- Suna.
