| Here is a drawing of a sparrow that I've been working on...included a detail of the head and chest area. |

When I first started scrolling down, I thought the first one was the reference photo! Really nicely done! Thanks for showing the closeup - gives us even a better idea of your great skill. |

| Spectacular, I also though it was a reference photo at first, but of course, much more beautiful than a photo.
I found the light green above the head a little distracting.
Beautiful work. |

| Thanks Kim & Kathy for your compliments. I did tone down the green surrounding the head in the final stages of the drawing about a month ago. The drawing is finished but I haven't taken the time to photograph it as I've been busy trying the paint the house this year. |

| You might think of entering this painting in this month's creative spark contest in the pastel journal. It is for a painting with an unusual perspective. When I read that, I immediately thought of you painting. The perspective is one of the things I enjoy about this painting. I think you can win some pastels, but of course it would be cool to have a painting published! |

| Hi Fisher4. I like your sparrow very much. Very nice color and composition. Only the metal piece on back of the bird's neck is disturbing me. I feel I can hold the bird in my hands. Very nice. Is this pastel work? ---Suna. |
