It has been a while since I posted, but I did finish this smaller piece recently. I love play with fantasy. Love to have comments or critism.

Happy painting to all

Hi Shana,

Lovely effect - it's one of those works that I would never get tired of looking at.  So dreamy and ephemeral.  Congratulations!

very nice! Love the colors! Like Al said, it is very soothing. The yellow adds a lot to the painting, even if I can't figure out what it is!

Wonderful idea. Is she a relative of yours? My grandkids are one of my favorite subjects. You might consider making your lights lighter and your darks darker, especially in the figure. It would give a bit more 'zing' to your painting and make her stand out more from the background.

Thank you for the nice comments. Yes, this my granddaughter. She was playing with a yellow ball. I did not want to make a portrait, so the painting became something else all together as I worked on it. I have added a few touches here and there on the work since I posted. I have entered it in a local show.

I will see if it does anything.

Weather is getting nice ready to work outside soon.
