Sandi I wish I could do portraits ,half as good as you , the hands and face are just beautiful , I notice my eyes go to the blue background ?? I don't know why ,or if it should be maybe a darker shade of green? I'm not in a position to criticize. Hope other portrait artist will comment. Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing more of your portraits. Rae

Hi, Rae,
Thank you for pointing it out. It is too blue on the shadow. I will change it. However, the color is weird compare to the original. I just don't know how to take photos of painting, especially oil painting, all reflections. I noticed yours is very beautiful. Would you share with me how did you do it?
Thanks.

Sandi, I think correcting the blue will be helpful, as well. Her graceful hands and soft face are beautiful to look at.

I really enjoy your portraits.  You have a very unique style that seems to really capture the essence of your subjects.  Great work!

I take photos outside in usually bright sunlight, and as you know pastels do not give off any reflections , Rae.
