Hi, Rae, Good job. When I looked at the painting, I feel as if I was walking on the road. Color is in great harmony. It's perfectly done. One opinion, it is a little bit too even. If you choose one focal point and soft others, I think will be better. Sandi |

| I feel like I'm there. I'm with Jim - that road looks slick! I love paintings with buildings, so this is especially appealing to me. Your use of color is strategically placed and it shows. I would soften the end of the street a little more to enhance the wonderful depth you have and bring the focal point closer. Well done! |

Thanks for the comments ,Sandi,Jim and Kim , I appreciate that and will take it in consideration , hav'nt sent it to the photographers yet! I just knew I would love doing this picture and the wet pavement was what I was interested in painting, I just finished a painting of our pup "Jack" and will post it today , let me know what you think? again it has a very personal feeling , as he means so much to me. Just got an e-mail this painting of Barrington Street and one of Barkhouse Boat sheds have been chosen by "Visual Arts Nova Scotia " to be included in an exhibition in Halifax from March 6th to June 27,2009.
I'll post the other picture today .

| This painting has just been accepted by VANS Visual Arts Nova Scotia along with another painting , to be shown in an exhibit till June26,2009 , in a very busy area , namely the corridor between the Westin Hotel and the VIA train station ,Halifax ,Nova Scotia. |
