Hi, all, I was working on this one until midnight last night. Not sure if it is finished. Is it? Also, can you give it a title? 29" x 27" pastel. Thanks.

Sandi,
This is just beautiful! I love your background colors and the way you did the moving skirts. Fantastic! |

| Sandi, this is a lovely work! And, boy do I empathize with the finishing at midnight thing, I call it getting sucked into the vortex.... anyway, my only thought (and it could just be the photo) is that if the white ballerina is your focal point, I find my eye going to the first ballerina in the foreground (left of center) and then to the white, maybe a little more highlight on the white or a dulling or blurring of the foreground ballerina? But, truly it is done when you say its done... and every eye is different... the colors and the composition are well done, the proportions on all dancers are well done and I find that the toughest thing on a multi subject painting is to get the proportions right... well done! |

Thank you all, especially Anna's note and title. It helps me. The title is very beautiful, I will use it. Margaret's comment made me feel flattered. All these encouraged me to paint more. I will pose another dance subject today. Please critique it. I like to hear negative comments. It is one way to grow.

| HI sandi.I love your painting!especially the movement. I like that the technique is constant throughout and the dancer in white creates excitement. My college professor always said at you have to have a balance of the things that stay the same and something different for interest. I think you have captured that well.I like looking at this painting....lynne |

What a great job! I was totally taken aback when I opened to your painting. I wasn't expecting such a reaction. First thought and perhaps name for "Light As a Feather". I didn't see it at first, but I kind of agree about the white costumed ballerina. Maybe if her right arm (her left on the painting) were to be lifted as the others and her left arm (her right on the painting) slightly lifted.
Otherwise, beautiful picture.
