Hey everyone, I just wanted to post some of my pastel work for tips and critiques. I am still learning but I am getting steadily better. I started with Pastel in September this year. This is my latest portriat. It was my first paid commission, And the one below is a portrait of Ricky Gervais, the English comedian. Cordy

Hi, You did well on both, although I think that the bottom one is better acomplished. There's always room for improvement, but you sure are in the right direction. Portraiture is not my area, so I can't be of much technical help. Kind regards, José
