Tried another owl in the tree. I compared it to one of the ones I have done earlier to see how far I have come along. jjj

Hi,

First I thought about working the bark a bit more, but then maybe it would overpower against the owl.
I will confess that seldom I've seen owls live, so I can't help with it.
Nonetheless I believe that you're on the right track.

Great job on the owl! I like the way that the bark lines bring the eye right to the owl...

Thanks Mike and Jose'. I did want to try something a little different with the bark on the tree and that's what I came up with. Probably couldn't do it again. Glad you liked it. jjj
