I forgot to add from my previous post: The Second Coming is 30x40in. The second pic Heart of Darkness is also 30x40in. What would other artists suggest as the best pastel drawing papers? I use: Prismacolor, Rembrandt and Sennelier as my primary dry pastel choices. I find that Blockx pastels are good too, and they are on clearance at blickarts. What do other artists suggest as good quality dry pastels? The Second Coming 30x40nin is posted again below. It would be nice to find other pastel artists who work in the same theme(s) I do. I find on sites like myspace.com (although very social), the artists are very progressive and "explosive." I feel this is the new movement of today's younger audience which will dominate the artworld in years to come. Any opinions from celebrated artists? Thanks!

Not a celebrated artist, but I like your work. It reminds me
a little of the artist (can't think of her name right now) that did the
cover art for all the Harry Potter books. You have an idividual style that
you should continue to develop.

Thanks Jim. I'm new to this forum and I have to say that all the work I've seen by artists within the forum is really good. I am a young artist and it's been difficult to meet good artist who use dry pastel.
I visited your website. I also have a piece titled: "The Face."
I thought that was interesting. Thanks again.
