Trying another fish picture. I focused on the head and faded the rest of the fish into the darker water. I added the sticks to give it more depth. 9 x 12 size. Thanks for looking. jjj

This is a great painting! I love the simplicity. And I love the detail on the fish's head! This is one I would like to see in person. The simple palette is wonderful...........Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the compliment Gene. I remember not too long ago I had some lighting and value issues. I think I'm getting better on getting these into my pictures. I do look at  photo's a lot different now, thanks to the help from everyone here. Thanks again Gene. jjj

I really think you have a winner here The colors are great and I can almost feel the fish turning. I keep expecting his head to bob back towards me any second. Great Job!
