 Ya know, there's not really much wrong with this painting at all. Ya like it or ya don't. I think its fine. But when you start a thread with comments that seem to invite people to look for problems, in fact, they are really lame if they don't SEE IT, then they will look for problems even if they are not there.......and make comments that are nit-picky. You can experiment with this theory, I have. And it seems you sold it, or gave it to someone who really likes it.....So it was a nice painting that is being enjoyed----What more do you want? I like the cats, and old car. And the grasses, and the shadows in the the grasses. So get back to work. |

Hi Mike!
I like your picture..
But if you put on some darker color to your tie,on the rubber/black, it will help you get the cats more "in".
It seems to me that the tie "leans",(I do not know the english word), out to the cats. |

Hi Mike,
I really really love this painting. The colors are fantastic and it reminds me of my childhood when my dad collected all kinds of old cars and trucks. We would climb all over them chasing our cats and it really brings my back to that time. I love the detail you were able to get with your grasses. They look so layered and thick and I just want to reach out and touch it. Thank you so much for sharing.
