Beautiful! Actually, I noticed the bunny right away on the WIP version. You do such wonderful work.

Hello, I'm new here. This is really amazing! So realistic, and by the looks in their eyes, both animals seem to have their own story to tell. I love the rusted car as well.

Yes Mike, this piece is Very Nice and there all all sorts of little surprises in color and texture when you lighten the painting up a bit. Love it!

This is my favorite so far! I really like the blend of colors in this piece. I also think the WIP idea would work well for me. I'll have to give this a try so I can incorporate everyone's ideas as I go. Again, very nice Mike. jjj

I love this piece! (I am glad the bunny got away!) I like the surprises you find in it-I just noticed the flat tire, nice touch!

Thanks, Tracy! I like to have 'things' going on in my pieces to keep the viewer interested. It always nice to hear that someone finds that appealing.

Mike, you really have conquered those pastels. You haven't been working with pastels for that long, have you? I seem to remember back to when you were just starting with them. Your work is excellent.

All I can say is WOW! The detail that caught my eye was the shadow of the feather's shaft.

Gene, thank you! Yeah, I'm learning new things with every piece. This is about my tenth one...I think.
I've had help from a very good friend. I've been shown colors in shadows that I've never seen before, techniques that are helping me and I've changed to colourfix paper, which has made a huge difference! I'm finally getting my art moving forward!

Thank you, nushagak27! I do try and put in as much detail as time will allow. I appreciate you noticing it...

Rosie, thank you! These belong my friend back home ...I used to 'build' old cars, but got tired of it and quit. He has about an acre of these old cars and he builds them to sell. I was fortunate in that he allowed me to shoot these and use them for my art...good friends are hard to find. I spent a whole day photographing them about a year or so ago, and now I'm finally and using them in my paintings

Retha, thank you also!

Mike, this is really good! I really like the feather floating down, and of course, the little bunny. It's all really good.

Each day's a gift and not a given right.
