This is a painting I just started.  C&C appreciated.  Thanks.

Nice work, like the blending of colors and how well balanced it is--m

Michele,

Overall I like it, particularly the sky and the figures, though I'm a little lost in the foreground green. Also the water doesn't read right to me. It is too disjointed and the change in value around the figures loses believability, but I can't wait to see what you do with this one.

This is nice, Michele!
I do like the sky and people...I have to agree with Barry on the water. Although, I do like the green in the foreground.

What botheres me in about the water is that the hoizon line is not straight acroos. It sort of dips down by the girl's head... though I see why you may have done it that way. As always the colors in your work are very nice. ( AND GREAT JOB on all the studio time you have been putting in! I wish I was as disciplined as you!

Thanks everyone for commenting. I did notice the white halo of the water around the father after I photographed it. But I didn't notice that the horizon line wasn't straight. Thanks, Suzanne, for pointing that out.
