Well, it's almost finished, but I thought I'd put it for review before I complete it...
I'm going to 're-work' the kit on the roof cause I am not pleased with it and I have some more final touches through out the piece when I get to that point, but tell me what you think of it so far.
I have a friend back in Colorado that has about 75 old cars sitting around on his property and he allowed me to photograph them and use them in my work. I photgraphed the fox kits down where I used to work. They denned there every year and I would go down in the early evenings, set up and take as many pics as I could before it got dark. Last year, there was a black/silver kit in one of the litters and I must have taken 40 shots of it...I'm saving him/her for a special painting! Anyway, I built this from several photos and lettered the delivery truck to 'fit' the piece...

| I think it's awesome Mike! I just wish I could see the foxes up closer. The one on the roof looks good to me too from what I can see. Can't wait to see the "finished" piece. |

Kathy, Thank you! I will try and get a closeup of everything on the finished piece.
Linda, Thank you also! I will post the size on this. I believe that it is rough at 18" X 20" or so...I'm going to have to measure it at finished size also. Mike |

This painting is really cool! My husband (the car nut) would go nuts. He is now with his son a couple hundred miles away at a race for the weekend. His son is racing this weekend. The texture of the old paint on the cars is awesome, the sky is awesome. The fox lettering is very funny! The foxes are very convincing. Maybe one of the foxes on the hood should've been positioned over more so the corner of the hood doesn't look like its coming out of the top of his head? Maybe not? |

| This was a surprize! What fun those little guys are having! What I really like and appreciate is the hood of the truck! We have an old 56 chevy PU out in the yard by the old chicken house and for 3 days I have been out there with my paper, and pencils trying to get it down on paper! The hood here is especially nice with the contour and the colors! Sun hitting it, and the grill is nice, its so well done. Compostion and story it tells are both nice. Can't wait to see the finish! |

Hi, Justine. Thank you, and yes, looking at it I see that the one kit could have been placed better...extra eyes always help! I need to pay closer attention to stuff like that!!!!
Hi, Ida. Thank you also...are we gonna see the drawing of the truck soon? Mike |

| This is very nice Mike! I love the way you brought it all together. I have always wanted to do a painting of a fox but so far it is still on m want list. How did you come up with the idea to combine the two? Can't wait to see the finished painting! Christine |

Thank you, Christine! Well, I came up with combining the two because when I was photographing the fox, I witnessed them climbing on top of the rail cars in the railyard. Seems they like to jump up on things and explore, so I just kinda put the two together. I thought that it also seemed fitting to letter the delivery truck "Fox Delivery" to tie it all up... Mike |

Great inspiration and a great job Mike! The touch with adding the fox delivery on the panel and the way you did it is outstanding. Jim

| Very nice Mike! Makes me want to step up my game. Really like the stance of the fox on the fender and the color used on the front of the hood. jjj |
