Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum, so I wanted to share with you my latest 3 works in Oil pastels. The first is Gastown. It is a 12x10 on black cotton paper. The second is Medows, a 3x5 on Canvas board, and the third is Marsh Sunrise, a 4x6 on watercolour paper. C&C welcome and I must say I am impressed with the quality of works shown here!

I love the feeling/mood in all of these!
My favorite is 'Gastown'. The use of light and the way you've shown weather is fantastic! I've never tried oil pastels, but they've always intirgued me...maybe some day I will give them a whirl?
Excellent work!

They are all very beautiful but I especially love Gastown. Love the bold colour against the black.

HI Im new on here and enjoying the artwork and conversation! I really like all three but the last one is beautifull. I do soft pastel and have tried oil pastel only alittle, mostly for sketching. Your water in the marsh painting looks real enough to jump in! Where is it? great work. Lynne

The funniest thing about Marsh Sunrise is that it started life upside down. Looke here:

Then after hearing from friends, I turned it over. See here:

Change is good! LOL.
