Ok I'm new here, and just wanted to post what I've done so far. This is my first time working with something else other then drawing pencils. These were just practice and I just really grabbed something to do.

I hope the images work. Aslo I'm sure you can tell I took pictures of these and their not cropped well. Sorry its a little messy there. I'll post one more after this in the pastels section. I really hope i can get some critique on these. I would love to know what other people think! Thank you.

Great start! You have a good eye for value and using it to describe volume. Have you seen the Oil Pastel Forum on wetcanvas.com? They have a wonderful variety of info, demos and paintings in progress to see, and the people are so helpful. I highly recommend it!
