My Rachel (unbelievable artist I may have told you...but uninterested in doing that right now at 18...I understand...I was like that at her age) and I were discussing your work. She has an unusual eye for her age...and said...yes...he's amazing...but...(hold on 18 year olds don't hold back) he is technically wonderful...but they are still too much (in style) like a photo." In other words she was waiting for you to do your whole painting in a way that does not remind her of photography...but stands alone as a great PAINTING. Then I found this painting...and said...look at this Rachel...and she said...that one's got it. He did it. We agreed...as good as anything we've ever seen...ever. Bravo. We bow before you dear artist. I hope you will find some competition to get such a painting into. I am very moved by the beauty and the subject matter. Again, bravo.
