Great Idea, Dale!  This is what I've been hoping for, a place to really share helpful info. I don't know about some others, but I've learned a lot through trial and error, but I still have much to learn.  I'm in the process of trying some new techniques myself and have started a photo diary of the paintings I'm working on now.  Taking photos of each stage and keeping track of how I did it, brushes and colors and such.  All this in an attempt to learn how to be more consitstant in my work, instead of all the guess work, and hoping it just works out. I'll look forward to what Carver shares with us.  Thanks for suggesting the idea and thanks to Carver for being willing to share.
