good morning! and thank you, who popped me the stars! i just noticed! my first set of five!.....

thank you richard!....i am living with it right now, yanno, its set up where i can walk up on it and get a fresh eye view each time?....and the front right paw is just not sitting well with me so thats the area i am trying to fade out a bit more believably...right now i have the call out to all the dog artists and artists with dogs that i know and i am collecting more references....but i have set this week for the deadline so its make or break..i either adjust or leave as is.....

and thank you retha!....i have another commission of five painted shirts lined up with this same customer so i am itching to move on and accomplish those too! but i just want to make sure winston feels right to me....the customer is pleased but sometimes ya have to please your self too and not let work leave you that just is a bit off...yanno????

This is a beautiful painting. I really enjoyed seeing the work in progress. You captured the eyes so well. I'm sure your customer will love it. Thanks for sharing this with us...............Gene

morning peeps!...gene? my customer came last night to take a final look and loves it...phew...ya always worry till they take that final looksee...she will be picking it up on monday or tuesday, so i get to keep  him for the weekend...i am going to miss thta big ole lug staring back at me in the morning...heheheee....

i finished some minor work and then touched the color a bit, adding the lil silver clasp...dont look for tight details though because they are not there, that way his head remains the focal point, which is the area that has most of my  detail work...

soooo thank you all for the positive feedback while i was working on winston, it was great support!....

next i have to complete five koi shirts for the same customer but all the same design, she chose one of the ones i did last year, so i wont repeat a thread doing those..

but there will be something else on the easel soon, and i still have to work out the bugs in that giraffe painting...which i soon will post an update on...i promise!!!
