Hi Juan,

This is a beautiful painting.  Very dramatic and surreal.  The only criticism I would give it is that the upper part is very distinctive while the very lower part may need more detail or change of color or something....I just can't put my finger on it.  You have a great imagination and skill.  Keep up the good work.

Jaun Carlos,

I have to wonder about your personal world.  Judging from your painting which is beautiful and provocative, I must presume that you live in a world of hell cause this isn't the world as I see it.  My world much more akin to the natural beauty of the world.

Your painting is a window into a disturbed soul as I see it and I do hope that I am wrong, but you paint a world that humans are unlikely to be able to live in.  Tell us why.

Phil thanks for its commentary.

First I request excuses by my bad English.

I will try to explain my world... ja, ja, ja. I live in a beautiful country (Costa Rica), with an exotic nature and tropical, with mountains, forests, flowers and rivers... everything is green... very green here!
The flora and the fauna, people and the fields... everything is pretty here.
I enjoy to live here, am father of a responsible, loving and calm family.

I am not insane or crazy! ja, ja, ja.

I paint inspired by clouds, inspired by the sea, inspired by a confused dream... I make a mixture of all that... because I think that he is interesting to watch a painting and to let the imagination fly.

I think that the spectator of my painting must imagine that have wings... and can enter flying until the top of rocks and to settle there... to see the landscape, and so that no, until he can feel the sun and listen to the sea...

My world is not hell.
My world is as a dream... nothing else.

Thank you for the reply.  You are a dreamer, but your painting seems to show a dark side.  I'm sure that Cost Rica is a beautiful place and I suppose the beauty that surrounds you becomes monotonousto your eye.  Or mabe you are just looking to startle the viewer. 

However, whatever your feelings, you do paint beautifully and imaginatively.  Good luck to you and keep painting.
