I like it. I could use a scene like this on the fall tree I am working on. Maybe a tiny house in that tan area on the hillside will provide a little story that says this road is going to grandmom's house. Kathy |

| Beautiful as usual, love the sky and the colors. Sandi, the shapes of the shadows on the road are bothering me- they look too square as opposed to dappled. |

| Ah, it is nice, but I think what I'm seeing is that the shadows on the stripes are not consistently matching with the cast shadows of the trees on the road. Also, on the left there are some golds and right behind it are light yellows suggesting plant life. But it looks as though they are leaning heavily into the road, cutting it off slightly and then the road widens again (where you have the light gray). This area (almost the exact center of the painting) is confusing my brain a little bit. Maybe "rough up" your tree shadows - they tend to be very straight edged on the sides and tops. But still, it's nicely done overall. |
