Nice! I like the visual effect of the distant man under the umbrella. Could be taken as a metaphor as well. Near or far god still covers and watches(the umbrella) over everyone.

I like Bright Eyes' metaphor...pretty cool.
Phil, this is a great subject and a unique way of depicting it. Your style is very unique and attractive, as well. I really like it. My only suggestion (a small one) is to make the strokes behind the left man's head go in the same direction as the rest on the wall. It sort of looks like you may have forgotten to go back and complete that little area.
