I photographed her when she visited last Christmas and, although I wasn't too happy with the photo, I decided to do the painting since I had already painted her sister and didn't want to create disharmony in the family. Please critique before I send it to her.

It's a lovely painting. I thought about it as if I were the person in the painting. I think maybe the eyebrow gets a little too thick over the left eye near the nose. We girls spend a lot of time getting them even. I think your granddaughter will love it.

Very nice, my favorite part is the watch and her hands. Just had a thought about the color of her T- shirt, perhaps a warm dark would be nice.

Looks great! You did a wonderful job with the forms and movement of the painting. And I really like the expression on her face. My only suggest (and really isn't all the necesary) would be to build up the shadow and light contrasts to make her "come out" more.
