Hi,

Interesting painting by Fishy.

Nice painting by Bill. I think it's time to get my oils out again.

Well here is mine. It's 8x10 WC paper 140lb.

Maggie,I will be glad to do the pick for next challenge. My problem? How to start a thread or even if It comes from wet canvas, getting it from there to here? Told ya, I don't know squat about computing.jt32

JT32 - no probs... it is easier than it looks.

To set up a thread, simply go to oils and choose 'Add New Topic'.

Under Subject: type in  'Weekly Challenge #6'

Attach your picture at the bottom using the Browse button and that's it for starting a 'Thread'.

When you've picked your picture and it is from WetCanvas.... let me know and I'll step you through that one too!

take care
Maggie

Finally finished it last night.  Oil on canvas paper (a first).  2 1/2" x 3 1/2".  I believe I got the vase a little too small.  (These challenges are great!  Always need the practice).

Kim - well done.  Very beautiful.   2.5 x 3.5... never worked on a canvas this small.  You must have steady hands.  Glad you had the chance to finish this one, it was a good choice.

Kim,
You got a lot into a small paper. As Maggie says you must have steady hands.

Well I finally brightened my sunflowers.  Lost the values in the process and had to work hard to get them back.

I like the lightened version Barb. It is much brighter, and more golden. It was worth the added effort!

Kim - I'm sorry, I hadn't seen your's before. It's a wonderful rendition. And so small. I have a hard time keeping my hand steady on a 9x12! I really like the texture the canvas paper adds to your work.
