It's been a while since I posted, and just as long since I had a chance to paint.  My painting buddy and I went and set up on the side of the road not far from here last Thursday.  The view was wonderful and the colors are inspiring.  And it felt so good to be outside on such a lovely day with a paint brush in my hand.  I've really missed my painting.  Guess I'm just going to have to schedule a specific time on the calendar for it or make a specific weekly date with my painting buddy.  This one is 8 x 16 on canvas board.  I haven't signed it yet, not sure it's finished.  See what you think.  Landscapes are not my forte'. And working plein air is a challenge for me.

This is a pleasure to look at. I especially like the way you handed the distant hills/mountains. You did a nice job.

Peggy - this is lovely. I like the colours especially the little dabs in the trees. You've done a good job with perspective. It looks like you are looking down into the village in the back. Well done.

Welcome back Peggy. And as always, your work is wonderful to look at. This painting has such a calming effect on me. I feel I can walk down that roadway to the village. Very nice!

Peggy, it's good to "see" you again. My favorite part - the cool blue roof next to the warm reds in the trees. The changing colors in the trees are nicely done. It's luscious!
