I finished this one last night.  I found a magazine ad with three pears, one that is metallic.  Had to paint it.  Comments and critiques welcome.  8x7

I love this, Kim!!!!
I really like your style of painting...I'm wondering why you don't post more?!?!
Maybe I've just missed your posts?
Very nice!

beautiful - I like the way you used only one main colour.

This is beautiful. What made you decide to use that shade of green? It is very appropriate.

Thank you all for your kind comments. Wow - you've really made my day!
Mike - I appreciate the encouragement. The last few months have been pretty busy. Between working full time, taking time for a vacation, starting the landscape in the backyard, a visit from my daughter and grandbaby (her husband is in the navy serving in Japan), a visit from my parents, plus a new puppy, I haven't been too disciplined, except for the commission. I think I'm getting the pupply calm enough for me to sit down for 20 minute stretches. I've got two more small paintings to finish and some ideas for new ones. I think the last one I posted was of the artichoke. Cooler temps always make me "settle in" for the evening which means more painting.
Priti - I wish I could take credit for the green, but now that I look at it, it's greener here than it really is. It's actually more gray than green. But the green works, doesn't it?

Love it Kim. I really like the limited pallet you've used. Great job.

Very nice pear. I especially like the soft reflection.
