My latest oil on canvas. It measures 18x24". I don't usually do a lot of people in my painting but thought I would give it a try on this one.

Brian - this is really nice. You've captured a great feeling from the sky and for someone who does not do alot of figures in a painting... this is great. They give it a bit of movement.

This is amazing...reminds me of older classic painting styles. I can hear the clanging of the masts(?) and feel the wind blowing. Great job!

Thanks Maggie and Tami. I always appreciate your input. I did make some changes. I wanted to bring more color from the sky to the water and lighten the beach just a bit. I think it helps but I'd like to get another opinion on that. Thanks..........Brian

Hey,

I really like your first one better. I read in someone's post about water...I think it was on "mudlake" post ... that when the water is moving you won't see much reflection of the sky.

It's still very nice! Did you work from a photo?
