I was thinking, wouldn't it be fun to have a photo posted and anyone who wishes has one week to do up their version of the painting. It would not matter what size shape or even medium really. 1 - this would be incentive to get a painting done in one week, and 2 - it would be good to see everyone's version of the same picture. Comments would also be welcomed. Is anyone Interested? We could start next week and get things rolling... it might be fun! I think it would help loosen up us detailed-orientated, slow, lost painters alot!

| Great, Priti and Bpier - I just thought it might get the juices flowing a little more. So, since Priti was the first to jump on the bandwagon - why don't you submit a photo and let's say by the 31st they should be posted. Finished or not! |

Hi Maggie, This is new for me, so i need some suggestions regarding the photo. Personally i like still life with flowers but that might be too limiting and judging from the interest on this forum, everyone seems to prefer landscapes. Portraits might be too personal. Does anyone have a suggestion - If we go with landscapes, is a local pond scene good? or some botanical garden scenes? or something else? |

Sounds fun, count me in. Priti, just find anything, that's the challenge. If you have something unique from where you live, use that. Landmark, animal, etc. Not everyone is going to like a paticular choice, but the challenge is to paint it in your style. |

| Hope Maggie and i are not the only ones working on this. Unfortunately the skies in our area are just as gray as the one in the painting. Looking forward to seeing every one's work. |
